Our Approach Founders & Origins Our Partners Organizations Volunteers Endorsement

We are thrilled to announce that Co-operators Insurance have joined Staying Alive as a major sponsor. Co-operators have made a commitment to expand the Staying Alive program, with the goal of reaching children right across Canada with our message of fire safety. In fact, work is now underway to translate the Kid Zone of our website, and Mrs. Aboutfire's Great Escape game and CD into French. Thanks to the Co-operators pledge, we'll be able to distribute a Great Escape CD to every elementary school and fire department in Canada.

Staying Alive is proud to announce that the Firefighters Burn Fund Inc. has joined our program. Through this partnership, Staying Alive and its web site will soon expand to include a section devoted to the Firefighters Burn Fund. As well, the Burn Fund financed the development of our new animated interactive fire safety game, "Mrs. Aboutfire's Great Escape" in the Kid Zone Section.

Staying Alive is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing fire safety and prevention information to as many people as possible. In our quest to continue to build a dynamic, interactive website that will reach not only young children, but people of all ages, we are currently approaching corporations and individuals willing to help cover the costs associated with this worthwhile project. Site Partners would allow us to not only maintain, but also greatly expand upon the foundation we have built.

If you are interested in finding out more information about becoming a Staying Alive Partner, please contact us at info@stayingalive.ca or 204-256-9351.

Think of it. If www.stayingalive.ca provides even just one child with the knowledge they need to get themselves out of a house fire safely, then it's done the community a great service. Consider becoming a Staying Alive partner, and making a commitment to the safety of our children, and our community today.
