Camp Mamawi
A fun-filled burn camp for children who have been patients in the Children’s Hospital burn unit. Every year, 40 kids attend Camp Mamawi at Camp Arnes. The camp is staffed by members of the Children’s Hospital burn team, firefighters and activity workers.

Adolescent Retreat
An exciting canoeing and camping experience for young people aged 18 to 30 years-old. The program helps build confidence and teamwork in young burn survivors.

Skin Camouflage Program
Operated by Occupational Therapy Services at the Health Sciences Centre, the Skin Camouflage Program teaches burn survivors how to apply specially designed creams to minimize the visual effects of scarring.

S.A.F.E. Baby Program
Offered to families in rural Manitoba, the S.A.F.E. Baby Program provides parents of new babies with a safety education kit and smoke alarm free of charge.

Burn Survivor Conference
A two to three-day annual conference that brings together burn survivors and burn care professionals. A line-up of support-focused seminars and social events makes the conference enlightening and fun-filled.

Fire Safety Trailer
Designed to provide children with an interactive education experience, the Fire Safety Trailer is available for community and school events.

Staying Alive
The Burn Fund supports Staying Alive, a child-focused, interactive website that educates and entertains children about the dangers of fire and the devastation of burns.

Cycle-a-thon
An annual fundraising event with over 250 cyclists riding individually or in five person teams covering 100 kilometers through rural Manitoba. The Cycle-a-thon has become a popular event with 100 percent of the money collected through pledges going directly to the Fire Fighters Burn Fund.

Illusions Magic ’n Miracles
Every year, Manitoba families are treated to an exciting magic spectacular featuring international entertainer Murray Hatfield. Held in January, the event is an important fundraiser for the Burn Fund.

Annual Sportsman’s Dinner
Since 1992, the Riverboat Family Restaurant in Selkirk, Manitoba, has sponsored this popular dinner in support of the Burn Fund.
